Calexico - Garden Ruin

I first heard about this band through the I'm Not There soundtrack, Calexico backs up musicians from Jim James to Iron & Wine to Willie Nelson. This is one of my new favorite albums I have been listening to the past few days. They have a distinct sound, probably from their roots in the American SouthWest. Although in their previous albums, the "Calexico Horns" are more prevalent the band has made a necessary change, by creating more universal songs without ditching what made them. Notable songs are Cruel, Panic Open String, and Deep Down. Get It
