Don't get me wrong pavement is a great band, but their frontman Stephen Malkmus has released three solo albums since the breakup of the band. These albums i believe to be ranked right up with pavements best (slanted and crooked). Malkmus has a great way of songwriting, usually not taking himself too seriously and throwing in weird sounds into his music.
